Hi and Welcome We watched this in a meeting at school. I am using it to show posting media. In addition, it does elicit comments...

  1. I know. It did generate a nice discussion among our teachers.

  2. This is exactly why for the last several years we have been trying to think outside the box and assessing our students in a variety of ways and also working across curriculum with projects like science and English classes working on a research papers together.

  3. This video stresses the need for across the curriculum instruction, as well as, using various forms of assessment.

  4. This is too funny! Students need to be prepared for life not just for test taking.

  5. This is both sad and funny! I couldn't help but notice the way that the student was dressed for the interview. I always heard that you only get one chance to make a great, first impression. Unfortunately, this is the way a lot of students view their education. We really need to do a better job of preparing students to function in the "real world."

  6. This makes us look very bad as educators. I agree with interviewer, "I think I have heard enough". We really need to go back to making sure students are well rounded and able to compete in the real world and not just in the class or community they live in.

  7. This is hilarious and sad all st the same time. I feel like I always interview well, but it had. Itching to with what I learned in school. It came from extra curricular activities and my parents making me do things like shake hands and carry on a conversation with an adult. For too long school has been like an assembly line with learning designed for testing and that's it. Creating a culture at your school that address real world learning is a must and a school leader.
